SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 13

Congratulating the Wyoming East High School football team for
winning the state's 1999 Class AA football championship.
Whereas, The Wyoming East High School football team had an
outstanding 1999 football season, finishing the regular season with
a 10-0 record; and
Whereas, That perfect season record qualified the Wyoming East
"Warriors" to compete in the state's 1999 Class AA football
championship playoffs; and
Whereas, The Wyoming East "Warriors" competed in and won the
state's Class AA football championship, bringing its total season
record to 14-0; and
Whereas, The tremendous 1999 football season is credited to
the outstanding coaching ability of head coach Kevin Grogg and his
coaching staff, along with the athletic ability and sportsmanship
of each team player; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby congratulates the 1999 Wyoming East
High School football team for an excellent season and for bringing
the 1999 Class AA championship title to the home of the "Warriors";
and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Senate commends head coach Kevin
Grogg and his coaching staff, along with the athletic ability and
sportsmanship exhibited by each player of the Wyoming East High
School football team during its outstanding 1999 season and for
winning the 1999 Class AA championship; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to the principal of Wyoming East High
School, the head coach of the "Warriors", Kevin Grogg, and to each
member of the 1999 Wyoming East High School football team.
